Kuito is a soldier-turned-researcher debuting as a boss in The Legend of Dark Witch 2. She is a member of Ich.
Appearance and Personality
Kuito is a woman with very long red hair. She wears a single-sleeved dress, with the sleeve resembling that of a kimono. She wields a Syega-powered umbrella.
Kuito is a calm woman with an air of maturity, only becoming flustered when Stoj mentions her age. During her time as a soldier, she fought toe-to-toe with one of Rasil's most feared warriors. Kuito now researches the applications of Syega in military tactics.
History
The Legend of Dark Witch 2
Kuito is one of the initial eight bosses, residing in the cherry blossom field at the end of Japonesque Night.
She repeats the following attacks in order:
- Kuito throws Happiness Mines in a forward arc that lie on the ground.
- Kuito opens her umbrella and invites the player to attack her. However, should the player hit her with a projectile attack, it will reflect back towards the player as a blue shard of energy.
- Starting at yellow health, Kuito uses her umbrella to leap high in the air and toss Boing Boings. These Boing Boings are bouncing projectiles that remain persistent during Kuito's other attacks.
- Her Revenge Magic is Final Shot. Kuito fires a ball of energy forward that remains suspended in midair for a short while before slitting into three separate energy bursts that track the player's position.
Kuito is weak to Lord Attack. Lord Attack does not deal a significant amount of damage, but cancels Kuito's current attack. Lord Attack will also destroy her umbrella, which severely weakens her offense: her counter becomes ineffective, she remains significantly closer to the ground during her Boing Boing attack, and her Revenge Magic no longer splits into separate bursts of energy.
Defeating Kuito grants the player Boing Boing.
