Litty is a strange researcher debuting as a boss in The Legend of Dark Witch 2. She is a member of Ich.
Appearance and Personality
Litty is a woman with short, blonde hair. She wears a tattered skirt and wraps much of her body, including arms, legs, waist, and chest, in bandages. She wears a Syega crystal above her chest and fights with an orb that she telepathically controls.
Litty is a researcher with odd ideas (for example, wondering why people need to wear clothes) that talks in a distant tone and refers to herself using the masculine boku pronoun in Japanese. She seems to enjoy telling jokes and is notably the only character to handle Mari's antics in stride.
History
The Legend of Dark Witch 2
She is one of the initial eight bosses, being fought inside of the Fae-infested Santamaria Manor.
She repeats the following attacks in order:
- Litty fires her orb forward. The orb moves slowly, but becomes invisible shortly after being fired.
- Litty fires her orb upward, which disappears. Illusions of the orb, which are gray in color instead of yellow, drop from the sky in an attempt to confuse the player before the real orb drops in from above the player's position.
- Starting at yellow health, Litty will summon an illusion of herself. Both she and the illusion appear at opposite ends of the boss arena and continue Litty's attack pattern. Both will react identically when hit, meaning that the player must watch Litty's health gauge to determine whether they are hitting the real Litty or her illusion.
- Litty's Revenge Magic is Illusion Shot! She throws three orbs, two gray and one red, that bounce around the arena. Only the red orb will actually deal damage to the player.
Litty's weakness is High Power Beam. High Power Beam does not offer Litty invincibility upon contact, which combined with its multi-hitting nature means that it will rapidly drain her health. It will also immediately destroy Litty's illusion of herself upon contact with it.
Once Litty is defeated, the player will gain Illusion Shot.
