The Legend of Dark Witch Wiki

Lord Attack is a technical skill in The Legend of Dark Witch 2 and a movement option usable by Zizou in The Legend of Dark Witch 3. It is rewarded to the player when beating Rudy.

    Effect

The Legend of Dark Witch 2

Pressing the attack button will cause the player to dash forwards, damaging any enemies that the player comes in contact with during the dash. If Lord Attack does not immediately kill the enemy, the player will dash through them. Lord Attack can also be used in the air, though if the player is falling, most of the downwards momentum is carried.

    Super Effective

Lord Attack is the weakness of Kuito in The Legend of Dark Witch 2. It does not deal significantly more damage than a typical weakness weapon, but it destroys Kuito's umbrella, making her attacks less effective.

    Upgrade

Lord Attack, like the other weapons in The Legend of Dark Witch 2, can be upgraded to make it stronger. Upgrading Lord Attack will allow it to pierce through shielded enemies. It also allows the player to break gray blocks found in some levels.

    Rudy Bossfight

Rudy does not actually use Lord Attack in her boss fight, though she has a few attacks that involve her spontaneously dashing forward to hurt the player. Most notable is her attack at half health, where she will slice towards the player three times.

The Legend of Dark Witch 3

Lord Attack is now a part of Zizou's default moveset in this game, and it functions somewhat differently here than in The Legend of Dark Witch 2. One notable change is that Lord Attack no longer goes through enemies. If it does not kill the enemy, the player will bounce off of them. Lord Attack also no longer carries your downward momentum, allowing you to stay in the air longer by chaining multiple of them. However, Lord Attack still requires the player's Capacity Gauge to perform. Upgrading Lord Attack will have it use less of the Capacity Gauge.
