Pelusa is an arrogant warrior debuting as a boss in The Legend of Dark Witch 2.
Appearance and Personality
Pelusa is a woman with shoulder-length periwinkle hair and a blocky, imposing figure. She wears blue and white armor, and a helmet that exposes the back of her hair and turns into a mask during her Revenge Magic.
Pelusa is one of the most feared warriors in the Dark Witch series, whose combat prowess gives even Zizou Olympia pause. She has an arrogant streak, but seems to get annoyed whenever her infamy is brought to attention. Given her reputation, she is acquainted with many of the other prominent warriors of the series, including Kuito, Verri, and Herbert.
History
The Legend of Dark Witch 2
Pelusa is part of the second set of bosses, encountered at Port Campania. Zizou petitions Riva for assistance in her raid on Germa, but since the princess of Rasil was busy, Verri summoned Pelusa in her place.
She repeats the following attacks in order:
- Pelusa dashes forward with her fist until she slams into the opposite wall. However, if the player tries to jump over this attack while not in close proximity of a side-wall, Pelusa will stop, then perform a rising punch in an attempt to strike the player out of the air.
- Pelusa slams the ground, creating a shockwave that leaves flames in its path. (The number of flames varying by difficulty.) Both the shockwave and the flames are capable of dealing damage.
- Starting at yellow health, Pelusa summons a boulder that slowly rolls toward the player. Neither the boulder nor Pelusa herself can be damaged until she throws it.
- Pelusa's Revenge Magic is Final Evolution. She leaps off-screen then, after calling the name of the attack, slams down on the player's position. She creates large explosions that travel from either side of her as she lands.
Pelusa's "weakness" is Overhelm. Although Overhelm does not deal damage, it has increased durability against Pelusa's attacks.
