Rudy is an excitable researcher debuting as a boss in The Legend of Dark Witch 2. She is the namesake of the "Rudymical" mini game, which would be spun off into a separate game of the same name, and is also a potential party member in Brave Dungeon and Brave Dungeon 2. She is a member of Ich.
Appearance and Personality
The Legend of Dark Witch 2
Rudy is a beastfolk with white hair, fox ears, and red markings on her cheeks. Her eyes are green and have red rhombus shaped pupils. She has a yellow chain like accesory with stars on the end on her head, and ties her hair in two long ponytails with ribbons. She wears a simple, sleeveless black dress, long white boots, detached sleeves, and a scarf. She wields two Syega-powered swords, and also wears a third crystal on a chain above her chest. She also has incredibly long nails as shown in her Rudymical render.
Rudy is a researcher with a silly, free-willed personality. She likes fighting, eagerly jumping into combat with Zizou and Sola. She apparently grew up with Icke, though Icke still acts sour toward her. [1]
Brave Dungeon
In Brave Dungeon, her appearence remains the same, however the red pupils are no longer there.
Brave Dungeon 2
In Brave Dungeon 2, her appearence has a drastic change. Similar to Brave Dungeon, she does not have the red pupils. Her long hair is no longer in pigtails, and there are gold beads on the ends of her hair. She still has orange ribbons on the side of her hair, but they appear slightly different compared to her other appearences. Her yellow chain accesory now has rabbit like things, resembling the Carrot Bunnies found in her stage, Playground Forests. She wears a multi-layered dress, with a white dress as the bottom layer. She has a sleeve-less grey coat on top, and a light green mini cape. She also has a gold chain that is adorned with Syega on her chest. She has detached sleeves with the same orange ribbons as the ones in her hair on them. She wields the same swords, and wears brown shoes with green ribbons.
She also has an alternative outfit, unlocked upon class change.
History
The Legend of Dark Witch 2
As a Boss
Rudy is one of the initial eight bosses, being fought at the Playground Forests. Her boss arena contains trees that block the player´s vision on the top half of the stage and makes it more difficult to read her attacks.
She repeats the following attacks in order:
- Rudy leaps into the trees, falling down at the player's position after a short delay. When she lands on the ground, she creates a shockwave to either side of her.
- Rudy spins her swords, creating multiple needles around her that slowly move outward. She then leaps into the air and attempts a spinning attack on the player's position.
- Starting at yellow health, Rudy performs a three-slice attack that traverses the length of the screen.
- Rudy's Revenge Magic is Five of Star!! She throws several needles upward; as the needles fall down, she rushes to the opposite wall before attempting to jump into the player with a spinning attack.
Rudy's weakness is Time Division. The Technical Skill causes Rudy to panic, rendering her immobile and defenseless for several seconds. It can cancel any of her attacks, including Five of Star after the startup invincibility expires, and can shut her down for the entirety of the fight if managed correctly.
Defeating Rudy grants the player Lord Attack.
Rudymical
Rudy is the player character in the Rudymical mini-game, in which she slices Boing Boings to the tune of several Dark Witch songs.

Rudy is a playable character in the Rudymical spin-off, being unlockable in the mobile version and being available for the start in the Switch version.
Brave Dungeon
Rudy is a potential party member, focused on multi-hitting attacks and healing herself.
Brave Dungeon 2
Rudy is a potential party member, found in Papelne's and the final story. She is first seen on the shoreline doing her own thing, when Papelne and Patty meet her. She then tags along with the two of them. During the final story, she meets other groups who also have the same goal of defeating the tower. They all team up together and destroy the tower's magic.
